First day of Sebring track sessions. The practices were routine, as lap times just kept coming down - 1:56.501 from Oliver Gavin in the #4 car - and the team continued to dial in the cars.
BTW- That is the Barwell GT2 in the background. The hunt is on for pics of the Bell GT1 AM and GT2 Lou's C6 on the track.......
Some comments from Goosens about the first tests : "We have had a very good day. After some long and hard weeks of work where Riley technologies's guys have not slept a lot, they have prooved once again that they know what is it to build a race car. The first laps of our car are very encouraging. Of course, we don't have the degre of performance of the best cars but during the second session we have pulverized our best time by 3 seconds. We have still a lot of work to do but our motivation is very high. I'm convinced that at the end of the week we should be able to make some big progress. I hope that my teammates and I will award the team for what they did with a great result."

Day 2 news: For those who dont know, both Vettes are in the 1:56s, the 3 car .4 off the #4
LG Motorsports C6R is now in the 2:03s! Today, they ran a 2:03:9, only 1.4 seconds off the Risi Ferrari under Salo. Great news. The Ford GTR also improved, now in the 2:05s. GT2 Aston and Viper in the 2:07s.

Just a precision about the GT2 Aston. In fact, the team didn't get the GT2 Vantage on time for Sebring so they are racing with a GT3 Aston. Sebring will just be a big test for the team and the performance will not reflect the real potential of this team.

This will be the first outing for a GT3 car in the states (now GT2 spec). Regardless, you can see just how neat these cars are...too bad the Z06R by Callaway wont be there.
