For the 2008 season, Selleslagh Racing Team [SRT] upgraded from their venerable C5R to C6R chassis #006, acquired from Pratt & Miller over the winter.
Now, with its new paint, team owner - Patrick Selleslagh and drivers - Christophe Bouchut [much sports car experience] and Xavier Maassen [he of Formula Renault qualifications] are ready to go.
They are committed to run the entire FIA-GT season vs spot appearances in '07.
Patrick is quoted- "I want to prove that we can hold our own at this level, but I’m thoroughly conscious of the high level of the competition we’re up against. With these drivers, a brand new Corvette C6R, and an experienced team, we’re aiming at a few highlights and podium places. I’m 200% motivated to make the most of this new step to the top. I want to thank my partners, Michelin and Pratt & Miller on the one hand and my drivers on the other for their trust and truly hope that 2008 turns out to be a fabulous sporting year."
