Paced by Jan Magnussen's lap of 1:56.269 (114.562 mph), the pole was won for the 3 team. Magnussen will drive with Johnny O'Connell and Ron Fellows. Car 4 was less than 0.3 seconds behind with Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta, and Max Papis driving.
Talk about saving the cars- Both Corvettes only completed three timed laps in the qualifying session!
The Bell Motorsports Aston Martin DBR9 came out of the garage from yesterday's off-track day to turn a 2:00.730 (110.329 mph). Terry Borcheller, Chapman Ducote, and Antonio Garcia will drive that car [Sorry, teething problems or not, they need to pick up the pace to earn the use of the word 'race'.]
A good start for the Corvette GT2, as it starts 7th among the 16 GT2 competitors.
BTW- That cursing you hear in downtown Sebring this PM will be French, as Peugeot will start 2ND to Audi after being FASTEST in Qualifying. How? Why? IMSA decided to use the times from combined Practices 1, 2, 3 as the Qualifying session was red flagged / cut short for 38 minutes after the B-K Motorsport Lola-Mazda went [way] off in Turn 1. BBV says, "What it is about Florida where nothing get decided without a controversy?"

Saw the Bell car here in Miami last week. It is beautifully prepared. I hope they race the Vettes all year. Its better to have them in it than not. They are good guys too. Go BBV.

I knew the company racing the DBR9 was based out of Miami, do they keep the car down here as well? Not that i really want to see it, but its cool to know a racing team is stationed down here. Wish it was a C6R though!
