We told you Sebring and Corvette were extraordinarily linked. Now, Johnny O'Connell, getting hi-five'd by Godug seconds after emerging from his #3 C6R, adds another page to that story to become Sebring's winningest driver.
Richly deserved for a great ambassador of American racing and an iconic American race car.
Great to see the #3 beat the #4 and great for all three drivers to get another Sebring victory. Really happy for Johnny O as after all the bad luck over the last couple of years he needed a change of fortune. Perhaps the #007 C6R is gonna be "Licensed to Thrill" :)

Nope that's Johnny O's alright. You can go to Pratt and Millers website for photos and there is a good one of Johnny with his helmet and his name across the bottom

What folder is the pic under on P&M's website? I always thought Fellows had the White helmet with Red stripes and that it was the reason the Ron Fellows Edition Z06 was White with the Red Fender stripes.

Reason Johnny O's helmet is white with dark red bits, is when he started racing he couldn't afford to get a custom painted helmet so bought a plain white one and stick on bits of red tape he had at home, true story. Ron's helmet always used to have a maple leaf on the side.
