Short Attention Span Le Mans 08 Preview
GT1- AM speed vs C6R fuel efficiency with a few rumored Corvette surprises to take the race to the baby blues.

P2- Porsche Spyders run their 1st 24-hour race. Based on the results, Penske back to Le Mans in 2009?

GT2- Who has done their homework better over the winter, Ferrari or Porsche? ALMS results suggest Stuttgart hit the books harder.

P1- Peugeot speed vs Audi's 8 straight wins [the 2003 Bentley counts - Audi power, chassis, team, and drivers].

Race[r] X Factor- Prototype BLOWOVERS. Thought to be extinct since the Mercedes / Porsche 'Cirque du Soleil' emulations of the 1990's, the current cars also like to fly. Thanks to ACO rules-requiring chamfered undertrays, eg- sidepod ground clearances higher than the center tub, a neat wing effect is created when traveling sideways.

Examples?
* Here. * And here. * Oops. * Track goes left, car does not. * History lesson. * Still the current record holder for height, distance, rotation, and degree of OMG!!.... ....and here's an attention-grabber when you just type in the word 'blow over' on the YouTube.

I suggest one checks who owned RTN in 2003 to decide IF there was a Bentley / Audi connection.
