The C6R found new top speed @ Le Mans 2008, some of it from reduced aero drag. BBV wonders if the lowered ride height that appears on the left side car [a pic taken pre-testing] bore the MPH fruit.
Think we are looking at more than just photo perspective?

1. Was the #64 car the one that got a new top speed?

Its lower thats for sure, and they definetly were faster this year.

Ride height does have a big part in drag. I would believe the lower the car, the faster

I'm sure lower ride height will help... at one point on the leMans coverage on speedtv, they mentioned there were added fins on the rear bottom bumper for the purpose of top speed. Not sure how valid that is, but whatever works!

I think opening up the air intake resticters to be the same size as the Aston's would help the top end even more !! I've held one of the AM resticters in my hand. They are an absolute carbonfiber work of art!
