What Do YOU Want The New C7 To Be?
We could have used the latest Transformers StingRay pic for this post, but with the Chaparral 2F photo we are making a point. The world is such that it is time for 'Jim Hall thinking' for the next Corvette.

C7 should lead with innovation. Heritage patronage has its place in the make-up of Corvette, but history also acknowledges that, through the years, Corvette's often at the technology forefront.

...and it is time for such thinking, once again.
...thinking way beyond a debate about pop-up headlights or not.

So, what do YOU want in the next Corvette?

A lot of people are forgetting Mr. Duntov vision of the ultimate corvette. With current engineering proceeses in cost effective designing and manufacturing, it's a shame that the knowmlegde is not put through good use in a mid engine corvette. How ironic that Factory Five Racing (known for AC cobra replicas) came up with the GTM using corvette C5 parts weigning in at 2400 lbs. Zora even built AWD mid engine supercars way before the europeans did ! I believe the GTM (RWD only) can be mass produce to be affordable successor as the C7 with LS7 motivation. Furthermore low weight and excellent aerodynamic = high fuel efficiency.
